Once I established a direction, I switched to color.
Why the tree grain? Bois D' Arc (wood of the bow) is a tree with many names. French explorers named the tree because the American Indians they met used its springy branches as bows to launch their arrows. Hence the trees and wood images in the logos are present in the area of the park.
Never presented due to communication problems with client.
